LISAPROD

Lisaqua is a high-impact deeptech start-up which is involved in the development of cleaner, more sustainable aquaculture. A global first, this project will see the establishment of an industrial-scale pilot prawn farm based on circular economy principles which will use the waste energy from the Monthyon incinerator in the département of Seine-et-Marne. The farm will have an initial production capacity of 100 tonnes per year and a prawn hatchery to ensure sustainability of production. 

This followed the approval of a prototype for the pilot farm established in Nantes in 2022 which produced 10 tonnes per year. 

The project was financed through Corimer’s ‘First production facility’ (Première Usine) call for projects.
