Operational governance: action through interaction
Established in 2005, Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique was set up as a non-profit association in accordance with French Law 1901. The cluster seeks to promote maritime innovation at the national and international level by drawing on the knowledge, skills and expertise of its members.
Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique brings together a range of different entities, from large corporations to research and training organisations, SMEs and institutional partners.
The PMBA Management Board comprises representatives from four colleges, one for each stakeholder group in the Brittany and Pays de la Loire maritime region. The composition of the Management Board as at 30 March 2023 is as follows:
