Metrocean
Expert laboratory for metrology and marine chemistry
Metrocean is part of a national strategy, initiated by Ifremer and SHOM, to establish marine metrology centres of excellence. The laboratory provides instrument calibration and related training, and research and development in the fields of oceanography, hydrography, geophysics and ocean chemistry. It caters to the needs of partner institutions regionally, nationally and internationally.
